Pepper Shot is formulated to not only cause the attacker extreme pain, but will also swell the mucous membranes, making breathing very difficult. The veins in the eyes will also swell and will cause the eyes to close shut. These effects can last up to 45 minutes and is non-lethal causing no permanent damage.
