Stingergirlz.com is a company formed by two close friends, Susan and Liane. We both grew up in New York City and are all too familiar with the violence that surrounds an urban environment most frequently aimed at women. We were sick and tired of women being targeted as victims and became advocates for the prevention of violence against women. The shocking recent release of the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) for 2008 revealed huge increases in the incidence of domestic violence, rape, and sexual assault. These sexual violence statistics in the U.S. are alarming to say the least. It was now time to do something to help other women protect themselves against brutal crimes.

After much research, we've assembled a comprehensive catalog of personal protection devices for women.
